Sidney and Wyatt had a very successful first race at the 2026 Norra 500. 

Day 1 consisted of mostly getting to know the scout under extreme pressure, while also trying to maintain their position. 

Day 2 was a different story... After pushing so hard on stage 1, the #1969 entry wiped an exhaust camshaft lobe. This resulted in backfiring out of the carburetor as the air could not escape out of the exhaust. Wyatt believed that the only option was to remove both lifters for that cylinder, even if this resulted in lower oil pressure. By the time this was over, stage 2 of the race was over. Wyatt and Sidney trailered the scout to the start of stage 3. Not knowing if the engine was going to make it 5 miles or 70 miles, Wyatt pushed the scout harder than it has ever been pushed. After being passed by #407 (AKA The Chicken Man) during a bathroom break, Wyatt knew that he had to make up distance. Wyatt and Sidney held pressure on #407.. waiting patiently for a mistake to be made. After #407 missed a sharp left turn up a canyon, Wyatt and Sidney passed and successfully held their position until the end of the race.

#1969 acquired 3rd place in their class and 61st overall out of 100 entries.
